Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Matti Teitsi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Park Doo Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doo Man is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Timewriter - No Higher. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matti Teitsi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Park Doo Man !
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Igor Prikhodko and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doo Man pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Park Doo Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Doo Man blocks a jab.
Doo Man throws a jab but it's blocked by Teitsi.
Jab, jab by Teitsi - just one landing.
Teitsi lands with a nice combination. Doo Man backs away looking to recover.
Doo Man tried to score with a low kick but Teitsi checks it.
Teitsi lands a nice looking body shot.
The fighters circling - Teitsi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Doo Man throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Teitsi fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Doo Man looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Teitsi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at KO Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Doo Man fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Teitsi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Teitsi lands with a hook. Doo Man tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A head kick from Doo Man lands but Teitsi takes it in his stride.

Doo Man throws a lazy right hand but Teitsi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Teitsi loads up on a big right hand but Doo Man slips the punch.
Doo Man throws a head kick but Teitsi moves out of range.
A big left from Teitsi misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Teitsi shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Teitsi tries to pass to full mount but Doo Man defends it.
Doo Man is pressing down on Teitsi's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Teitsi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Teitsi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

That was a close second round but I would say that Matti Teitsi will probably get the nod.
