PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Milovan Cirkovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cray Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cirkovic comes to the ring accompanied by Five Finger Death Punch - "Lift Me Up". Stout has chosen ¨LONG HARD TIMES TO COME as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cirkovic buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Good leg kick by Cirkovic there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Stout tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Cirkovic counters with a thumping low kick.
Stout misses with a double jab
and Cirkovic makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Cirkovic feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Stouts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stout takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Stout walks forward, straight into a front kick from Cirkovic.

and Cirkovic counters by moving into the clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Stout has a couple of punches blocked by Cirkovic.
Still in the clinch, Cirkovic scores with a nice short uppercut.
Cirkovic crunches a lovely knee into Stout's ribcage.

Cirkovic throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stout stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Cirkovic cracks Stout with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Stout is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Stout is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!

The crowd cheers as Cirkovic lands an impressive looking overhand right. Stout doesn't seem phased though.

Cirkovic creates a bit of space and fires a knee right up the middle, almost lifting Stout off his feet and sending him crashing to the canvas! Stout is trying to get back to his feet but his equilibrium is completely gone! The referee has called it off! This fight is over! Cirkovic is jumping up and down like a mad man, celebrating with his cornermen.

A relieved looking Milovan Cirkovic thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
