PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Petkovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frenchy Fuqua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petkovic comes to the cage accompanied by BvC Crew - KOSOVO. Fuqua is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Prodigy- Diesal Power. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petkovic buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Fuqua has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Petkovic lands a high kick!
Fuqua lands with a straight right. Petkovic didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Roman Petkovic has been cut.
Fuqua throws an overhand right that lands on Petkovic's shoulder, as Petkovic tries to avoid the shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fuqua. Petkovic does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fuqua tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Petkovic paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Petkovic lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Petkovic jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fuqua walks away with a smile on his face. Petkovic gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Petkovic connects with a leg kick. Fuqua looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Petkovic looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Petkovic checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Fuqua missing with a left hand there. Petkovic was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Petkovic is not content to let Fuqua control the position.
Petkovic manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Roman Petkovic will probably get the nod.

Petkovic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Petkovic walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Fuqua checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Fuqua lands a big right hand that sends Petkovic crashing to the mat! Fuqua stays standing though and waves Petkovic back to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Fuqua moves out of range of the body kick.
Petkovic loads up on a big right hand but Fuqua slips the punch.
Fuqua shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Fuqua dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fuqua drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Petkovic right on the button. Petkovic goes down! Fuqua follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Fuqua gets the win via TKO!
