Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Godsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Godsey comes to the cage accompanied by It's Raining Men. White is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Chelsea Dagger. Trevor Godsey is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

White gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Godsey accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
White is adopting a defensive guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now White is on top in guard.
Godsey on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Godsey tries to get out of the position.
White cracks Godsey with a solid left hand.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw White working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Godsey seems keen to control White's posture.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

White is working Godsey over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Godsey lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Godsey throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
White wants to hold on but Godsey pushes him away.
White might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Godsey haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

White has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

White is nestled in close to Godsey, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

White postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Godsey looks a forlorn figure.

White is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Godsey goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for White!
