The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hemsky jabs Maccarone to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hemsky cracks the inside of Maccarone's front leg.
Hemsky throws a leg kick which misses Maccarone's front leg but catches the back leg as Maccarone tries to avoid it.
Hemsky scores with a shot to the body.
Hemsky scores with a leg kick.
Hemsky throws a series of punches but Maccarone avoids them all with ease.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hemsky lands a leg kick that knocks Maccarone off balance momentarily.
Hemsky tries a head kick but it misses.
Hemsky misses the shot to the body.
Hemsky scores with a jab to the body.
Hemsky sizes up Maccarone with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Ladislav Hemsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hemsky fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Maccarone looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Maccarone is breathing heavily.
Maccarone takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hemsky drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Maccarone throws a half hearted mid kick.
Hemsky lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Hemsky is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Maccarone rather than just go for the knockout.
Hemsky connects with a body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Maccarone throws a wild body kick that Hemsky sees coming a mile off.
Hemsky lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Maccarone stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hemsky.

Hemsky lands a left and a right that send Maccarone crashing to the mat, dazed. Hemsky thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Maccarone is rocked!

and Hemsky counters with a big left hand that crumples Maccarone! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
