Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Solomon Zook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Pearmine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tim Pearmine was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Solomon Zook!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tim Pearmine!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zook throws a leg kick which misses Pearmine's front leg but catches the back leg as Pearmine tries to avoid it.
Pearmine gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Pearmine fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zook avoids it really well and circles away.
Pearmine has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Zook.
Zook lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Pearmine fails to land the takedown.
Pearmine shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zook but Zook pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Solomon Zook has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Pearmine.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Zook closes the distance and clinches.
Pearmine tries to pull guard but Zook holds him up against the cage and eventually Pearmine drops back down to his feet.
Zook lands a body shot.
Pearmine looks winded!

Zook pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Zook scores with a three punch combo!

It looks like Tim Pearmine has been cut.

Zook closes the distance and clinches.
Zook is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Zook is leaning against Pearmine and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Zook throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Zook lands a left hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Zook scores a nice knee to the body.
Zook lands an elbow inside.

Pearmine is rocked!
Zook lands with a right to the head.
Pearmine is still on wobbly legs! Can Zook finish him?
Zook has Pearmine pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Pearmine is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Zook - that's hurt Pearmine badly! Oh, another knee lands and Pearmine is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Pearmine doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Solomon Zook!
