Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Heimo Vesa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin has chosen Dean Martin - LITTLE OLD WINE DRINKER ME as his entrance music. Heimo Vesa had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vesa shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Martin's guard.
Our spies down at at SWF GYM inform us that Martin has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Martin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vesa is one step ahead there.
Vesa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Martin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Vesa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Martin tries to avoid it but Vesa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Martin to the ground. Martin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Heimo Vesa will probably get the nod.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Heimo Vesa.

Vesa shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Vesa was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
