The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diesel avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Dzoker pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Diesel back to the cage. Dzoker follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Josh Diesel has been cut.
Dzoker throws a right and a left that Diesel avoids nicely.
A clash of legs there as Diesel blocks the low kick.
Dzoker walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Diesel checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Dzoker buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Diesel is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dzoker sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Dzoker throws a series of punches but Diesel avoids them all with ease.
Dzoker wants to slow Diesel down by chopping away at his legs.

Dzoker tries to bum rush Diesel with a series of wild strikes but Diesel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dzoker lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Dzoker throws a nice inside leg kick.
Dzoko Dzoker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dzoker misses with a few strikes there.

Diesel fails with the takedown.
Dzoker fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Diesel has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Dzoker feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Diesel's calf.

Dzoker lands a left and a right that send Diesel crashing to the mat, dazed. Dzoker thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Diesel shoots in for a double leg but Dzoker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Diesel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Diesel is breathing heavily.
Dzoker with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Diesel is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Dzoker moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
