Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kaito Rin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heath Marcum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rin comes to the cage accompanied by Tracktor Bowling - Scars. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcum misses with an uppercut.
A chopping leg kick lands by Marcum.
Marcum tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Marcum loads up on a big right hand but Rin slips the punch.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rin connects with a nice short shot to Marcum's temple.

Rin is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Marcum still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Marcum has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Marcum throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rin's waist but Rin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Marcum off to one side.
