Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Weidman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dean comes into the arena with Will Smith-Geting Jiggy with it blaring out of the sound system. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean misses the body punch
and Weidman makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Weidman moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Dean misses with the combination.
Weidman dodges the punch combination from Dean.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dean looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Weidman shoots in for a takedown but Dean shows good takedown defense.
Weidman gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Weidman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dean tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Weidman was well out of range. Poor timing from Dean.
Dean loads up on a big right hand but Weidman slips the punch.
A big left from Dean misses.
Dean fails to land with a series of punches.
Mike Dean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Weidman throws a sloppy head kick and Dean moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dean throws the left hand but Weidman avoids the punch easily.
Dean fails with a takedown attempt.
Dean feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Dean looking to sit in guard and control but Weidman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Weidman pushing down on Dean's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Weidman working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Weidman is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Weidman maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Dean could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Weidman has cracked it and Dean is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Weidman!
