The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown is trying hard to land a takedown here. Makarenko sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Makarenko stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Makarenko wants it to stay on the feet.
Brown shoots for a takedown but Makarenko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Makarenko cracks Brown with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Brown. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Makarenko drops Brown with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Brown looks back up at him and smiles so Makarenko waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Makarenko and Brown are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Makarenko throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Brown into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Makarenko knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

A relieved looking Cyril Makarenko thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
