Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kron Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sparry McSubberton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie's entrance music is The Bravery - time won't let me go. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McSubberton gets the takedown into side control.
Gracie gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
McSubberton is looking to work his way around to Gracie's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
McSubberton trying to control but Gracie is having none of it.

McSubberton goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Gracie is on top in guard.
McSubberton is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Gracie wants to control but McSubberton is keeping busy.

McSubberton moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Gracie has worked his arm free - good work by Gracie!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gracie tries to buck McSubberton off but McSubberton is having none of it.
We've been hearing good reports from Gracie's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
