Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tatsuya Kawajiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kesuke Miyagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kawajiri comes to the ring accompanied by Water Pow . Miyagi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Your'e The Best Around. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tatsuya Kawajiri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 5 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kesuke Miyagi!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyagi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Miyagi, right into the meat.
Miyagi attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Kawajiri shoots in for a takedown but Miyagi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Miyagi lands a head kick. Kawajiri smiles back at him and beckons him forward.


It looks like Tatsuya Kawajiri has been cut.
Kawajiri shoots for a double leg takedown but Miyagi sprawls well. He's pushed Kawajiri's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Miyagi has Kawajiri up against the ropes in a clinch.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Kawajiri has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Kawajiri. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Kawajiri tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Miyagi swivels and escapes.

Miyagi is looking to clinch but Kawajiri is avoiding it.
Miyagi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Miyagi is looking to slow Kawajiri down with leg kicks.

Kawajiri shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kawajiri showed some decent athleticism there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Miyagi is trying to stand.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kawajiri connects with a nice short shot to Miyagi's temple.
Kawajiri thows a huge punch but Miyagi dodges it nicely.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
