Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marek Koltun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Kaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Marek Koltun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Kaz!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaz is looking to clinch.

so Koltun counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Kaz chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Koltun can pounce on him.

Kaz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Koltun, pushing him back against the cage.
Koltun goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kaz prevents it.
A left hand lands to the body for Koltun.

Koltun throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kazs head.

Koltun breaks the clinch.
Kaz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Koltun manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kaz wants to clinch up but Koltun keeps it at a distance.
Koltun lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kaz's sensitive parts.

Koltun closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kaz quickly recovers to half guard.
Koltun looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kaz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Koltun thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kaz's head.
Kaz moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Our spies down at at Lawson MMA (UK) inform us that Kaz has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Kaz is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Koltun defends well.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kaz manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Koltun keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Koltun lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kaz!

Koltun is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kaz can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
