Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Josh Wentworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wentworth's entrance music is Ice cube - It Takes A Nation. A fine choice. Julian Reis has the eye of the tiger tonight.

With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Julian Reis!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reis is looking to clinch but Wentworth is avoiding it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Wentworth misses with a few strikes there.
Wentworth connects with an inside leg kick.
Wentworth throws a low kick but Reis moves out of range easily.
Wentworth throws a low kick but Reis moves out of range easily.
Wentworth throws a series of punches but Reis avoids them all with ease.

Wentworth gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Reis throws a strike but Wentworth rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Wentworth is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Reis presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Wentworth's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Reis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wentworth as he jumps to the side.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wentworth lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Reis has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Reis and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Wentworth lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Reis circles away quickly and effectively.

Reis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wentworth but Wentworth pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Reis with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Wentworth to score with a decent uppercut.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Reis moves in looking to clinch but Wentworth pushes him off.

Reis has hold of Wentworth's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Wentworth seems comfortable defending it but Reis has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Wentworth is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Wentworth is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Reis couldn't care less - he's delighted!
