Sonova comes to the cage accompanied by Sleep Lullaby. Fella has chosen The Monster as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Bruno Sonova has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fella misses with a double jab.
A right-left combo lands from Fella.
Bruno Sonova seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sonova on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Fella lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Sonova closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sonova lands in his opponent's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fella looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Sonova lands a couple of elbows.
Sonova will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sonova pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fella is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sonova drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sonova jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Fella wants to sweep here but Sonova controlling him for the moment.
Our spies down at at The Pit inform us that Fella has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Sonova advances position into side control!

Sonova tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Fella manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Fella is working for a kimura but Sonova is defending it quite comfortably.
Sonova is pressing down on Fella's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Sonova has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Fella should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Sonova has tightened it up now! Fella should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Bruno Sonova!
Bruno Sonova decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
