The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Chakir both land. Nice combination.
Chakir jabs Kush right on the nose. Kush blinks but takes it well.

Kush is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kush seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chakir does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Kush is nestled in close to Chakir, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Kush winds up and cracks Chakir with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
