Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Henkka Reem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tarik Gibson!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tarik Gibson wasn't active enough on the ground.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Reem checks a leg kick.

Gibson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

This has been an exciting period of action!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Reem stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gibson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tarik Gibson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Reem is trying to push Gibson away but Gibson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Reem has Gibson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gibson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Reem jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gibson walks away with a smile on his face. Reem gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Gibson is pressed up against the cage. Reem has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gibson down to the mat. Gibson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Reem on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Some bone on bone action there as Reem checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Gibson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Reem drops his hands momentarily and Gibson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Gibson tries to improve position but can't.
Gibson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Reem off and has taken his back!

Gibson has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Reem's body.
Let's hope that Gibson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Gibson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Reem is rocked!
Reem misses with a looping left.
Gibson misses with a hook.
Reem fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Gibson lands a leg kick that knocks Reem off balance momentarily.
Gibson cracks the inside of Reem's front leg.

Gibson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Reem on the side of the head.
Oh Reem is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Reem is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Gibson closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Reem out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tarik Gibson!
