Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gustav Grimwald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Sharkhausen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grimwald kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is NoMeansNo - Mr. In Between. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharkhausen misses with a lunging right hand
and Grimwald counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sharkhausen's knee momentarily.
Sharkhausen fails with an attempt to clinch.

Grimwald moves out of range of the strikes.
Sharkhausen throws the kick towards the body but Grimwald avoids it.
Grimwald dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sharkhausen. That did some damage!

Sharkhausen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Grimwald swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Max Sharkhausen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grimwald ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

That was a close round but I would say that Gustav Grimwald will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
