Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edu Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Blumpkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edu Hernandez had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The key to victory for Edu Hernandez has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blumpkin swats away the attempt to clinch by Hernandez.
Hernandez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Blumpkin swivels and escapes.
Hernandez defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Blumpkin.
Hernandez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hernandez wants it to stay on the feet.
Hernandez misses with a head kick.

Blumpkin fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hernandez to the ground. Blumpkin is now in Hernandez's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Blumpkin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Blumpkin forces his way into half guard.
Hernandez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Blumpkin on the ground.
Blumpkin wants to control but Hernandez is keeping him busy.

Blumpkin seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Hernandez is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
