Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ozuma Obata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Chyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Obata's entrance music is Hijack The Terrorist Group - Hijack. A fine choice. Chyn has chosen Seven Devils as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chyn shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Obata sprawls well. Obata wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chyn gets slowly back to his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Chyn has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Obata bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Chyn counters with a shoot takedown. Obata fights it but they end up in guard.
Obata is looking to stand up but Chyn isn't so interested in that idea.
Chyn pushes down on Obata's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chyn is looking for a kimura but Obata is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Chyn to get the leverage.
Obata scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Chyn manages to mount him!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chyn is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Chyn extends the arm and Obata is forced to tap!
