The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gradon shoots in and drives through. Akulenko sprawls well.
Akulenko lands with a thumping leg kick.
Akulenko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gradon misses with a body kick.
A good leg kick by Akulenko.
Gradon fails with a takedown attempt.
A nice inside leg kick there by Akulenko. That's going to slow Gradon down.
Akulenko misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Akulenko lands with a kick to the temple. Gradon shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Eugeniy Akulenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gradon tries for a takedown but Akulenko sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Akulenko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gradon dives in for a single leg takedown but Akulenko sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Akulenko lands a nice hook to Gradon's body. Gradon takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Akulenko plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Gradon is rocked!
Akulenko lands a brutal head kick. Gradon looks out on his feet and Akulenko throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
