Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chance Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gedis Igars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Igars is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Criminal. Gedis Igars will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Igars fails with a takedown attempt.
Igars tries to score a power double leg takedown but Silver sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Igars somewhat.
Igars looks to land a right hand but Silver moved out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Silver has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Igars tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Silver manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Igars throws a hook to the side of Silver's head but Silver sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Silver displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Igars throws out the jab.
Silver moves away from the strike by Igars.
Silver lands a nice shot to the body.
Igars fails with an attempt to clinch.

Igars tries to sprawl but Silver drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Silver has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The referee warns Igars that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Silver scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Igars?
Silver is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Igars goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Silver!
