Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gary Player!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Geoly thuds a left hand into Player's body.
Geoly missing with a left hand there. Player was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Player misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Player throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Player swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Geoly keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Player.
Geoly has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Player finds it's way round the side to connect with Geoly's head.
Geoly avoids the head kick by Player.
Gary Player seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A lazy left from Geoly finds it's target.
Player takes a swing at Geoly's ribcage but misses.
Player throws a sloppy head kick

and Geoly counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Player keeping full guard, as Geoly tries to pass.
Player pulls Geoly in to control the position.
Player looking to hit a scissor sweep but Geoly is one step ahead there.

Geoly looking to sit in guard and control but Player gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Player wanted to stand there but Geoly had control of the position.
Player with a flurry of punches that miss.
Player slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Gary Player wasn't active enough on the ground.
Geoly looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Geoly will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Good standup being displayed there by Player as he connects with a hook.
Player tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Player misses with a straight left.
Good leg kick by Geoly there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Geoly fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Player is out of range.
Geoly just misses with a punch to the body.
Player misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Geoly.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Geoly throws a low kick but Player avoids it.
Player throws a big shot that misses.
The fighters circling - Player throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Geoly throws a leg kick but Player sees it coming and moves out of range.
Player fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Player throws a hook to the side of Geoly's head but Geoly sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Geoly throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Player's waist but Player gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Geoly off to one side.
Player misses with a hook. Geoly ducked under it nicely.
An inside leg kick lands from Geoly.
Player on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Geoly swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Player cracks Geoly with an open hand slap.
Geoly swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Player.
Player avoids a kick to the body.
Geoly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Player was well out of range. Poor timing from Geoly.
Geoly lands with a nice body punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Geoly dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Player. That did some damage!

Geoly walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Player cracks Geoly with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Player has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Geoly to stand back up!

Geoly is rocked!

It looks like Alexander Geoly has been cut.
Nice defenses there by Geoly.
Oh Geoly is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Player swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Player blocks a low kick nicely.
Player ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Geoly out cold! The fight is over!
