Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ash Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Kharitonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Campbell's entrance music is Sun Poison and Skin Cancer. A fine choice. Kharitonov has chosen BLUNT - Raggae All Day as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Vladimir Kharitonov was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Vladimir Kharitonov!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campbell throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Kharitonov's corner calls for a 1-2. Kharitonov obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Kharitonov connects with an inside leg kick.
Kharitonov lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Kharitonov steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Campbell. That one must have hurt.
Campbell lands with a shot to the body.

Kharitonov has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
You can see the frustration on Kharitonov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Campbell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Campbell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kharitonov keeps working.

Kharitonov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Campbell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kharitonov tries to avoid it but Campbell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kharitonov to the ground. Kharitonov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Campbell goes for a double leg but Kharitonov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kharitonov continues to drive forward.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Campbell crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kharitonov - the referee stops the clock and Campbell gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kharitonov. Campbell manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
