And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bulan Cordit!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cordit fails with an attempt to clinch.
A chopping leg kick lands by Chappell.
Cordit blocks a head kick by Chappell.
Heath Chappell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chappell goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Bulan Cordit has been cut.
Cordit shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chappell sprawls well. Chappell wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cordit gets slowly back to his feet.
Cordit fails with a takedown attempt.
Cordit will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Heath Chappell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bulan Cordit.
Chappell lands a brutal head kick. Cordit looks out on his feet and Chappell throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
