The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kazlauskas closes the distance and clinches up with James, looking for a takedown. Kazlauskas pushes James against the cage but James circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
James throws a right hand that Kazlauskas ducks under and follows up with a left that Kazlauskas also avoids with ease.
Kazlauskas fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kazlauskas shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches James napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Kazlauskas has worked his way into a potential kimura here. James is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kazlauskas yanks on the arm and James is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kazlauskas.
