And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jim Jabber!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jabber needs to keep his hands up - Sila had a free shot at his head there.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Sila lands a body shot.
Jabber on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Sila thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sila misses the shot to the body.
Afa Sila seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sila uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jabber.
Sila just misses with a punch to the body.
Sila avoids the head kick by Jabber.
Sila has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jabber.
Sila swings for the body but Jabber moves out of range.
Jabber throws a big shot that misses.
Jabber scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Jabber gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sila.

Sila looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Jabber!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sila trying to control the position but Jabber is working away.

Sila thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
We've been hearing good reports from Sila's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Sila tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Sila is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Jabber is trying to escape and Sila transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Jabber is forced to tap! Nice work there by Sila! Very nice indeed!

Afa Sila really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Mango Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
