The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aguirre shoots in for a double leg but Fujiwara sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Aguirre shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fujiwara sprawls well. Fujiwara wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Aguirre gets slowly back to his feet.
Aguirre lands with a slapping head kick.
Fujiwara shoots for a takedown but Aguirre saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Aguirre leaves Fujiwara with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Aguirre could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
