Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Koko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Nader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Nader has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Michael Koko's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Koko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Nader!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nader shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Koko defends it nicely.
Nader shoots in looking for a takedown but Koko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nader's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nader changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Koko tries to avoid it but Nader manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Koko to the ground. Koko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Michael Koko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Nader.
Nader takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Koko throws a series of punches but Nader moves out of range.
Koko has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Koko digs a good body shot into Nader's ribs.
Nader tries to score a power double leg takedown but Koko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nader somewhat.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Nader fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Koko lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Koko lands a nice looking body shot.
Koko throws a right and a left that Nader avoids nicely.
Koko lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Koko.
We've been informed that Nader has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Koko throws a low kick but it's checked well by Nader.
Koko lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nader drops his hands momentarily and Koko takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Koko ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Koko fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Nader is out of range.
Koko scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nader doesn't seem bothered though.
Nader shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Koko leaves Nader with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Koko thuds a left hand into Nader's body.
Nader takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Koko ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Koko scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Koko changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nader darts in looking for a takedown but Koko gets double underhooks and turns Nader into the cage.

Nader is trying desperately to land a takedown but Koko is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Nader.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nader is rocked!

Koko drops Nader onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Nader is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Nader is still on wobbly legs! Can Koko finish him?
Koko lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Nader to his knees! Koko keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Michael Koko decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
