Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lan Mandragoran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Proudstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Proudstar has chosen On the Warpath as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Proudstar slips a jab from Mandragoran.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Proudstar is defended easily by Mandragoran.
Mandragoran tries to bum rush Proudstar with a series of wild strikes but Proudstar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A swing and a miss from Proudstar.
Proudstar looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Proudstar misses with a low kick.
A slow jab from Proudstar misses its intended target.
Nice body kick from Proudstar.
Proudstar fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mandragoran has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Proudstar walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mandragoran checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mandragoran moves out of range of the body kick from Proudstar.
Proudstar defending well as Mandragoran loads up on a big left hand.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Proudstar. Mandragoran shrugs it off though.
Mandragoran is breathing heavily.
Proudstar looks for the body kick but Mandragoran saw that one coming.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Proudstar, as that shot connected.

Proudstar shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Proudstar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mandragoran with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Still in half guard, Proudstar seems content to control.
Mandragoran might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Proudstar is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Mandragoran regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Proudstar.

Proudstar throws a big elbow that misses.
Mandragoran is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Proudstar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mandragoran works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Proudstar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mandragoran avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Proudstar wants to control from the top but Mandragoran keeps moving.
Proudstar distracts Mandragoran with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Proudstar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Proudstar working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Mandragoran manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Proudstar manages to get himself to full guard.
Proudstar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mandragoran wants to control from the top but Proudstar keeps moving.

Proudstar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mandragoran doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Proudstar is tightening it up a little... Mandragoran has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Mandragoran reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Mandragoran taps out! Nice BJJ there by Proudstar!
