Lesnoe comes into a darkened arena with his song building. It's On! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Uebishe Lesnoe!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnoe wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Lesnoe misses with a head kick.

OMalley looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
OMalley looks to land a combination but Lesnoe avoids it well.

Lesnoe throws a leg kick which misses OMalley's front leg but catches the back leg as OMalley tries to avoid it.
OMalley steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lesnoe.

Lesnoe feints and then cracks OMalley's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow OMalley down.
OMalley connects with a body shot that sends Lesnoe's belly button to the back.
Lesnoe tries to clinch up but OMalley circles away and keeps his distance.

OMalley drops his hands momentarily and Lesnoe takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

OMalley takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Lesnoe scores with a head kick. OMalley tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Horrible takedown by Lesnoe or perhaps it was just good defense by OMalley which made him look bad.

Lesnoe has OMalley pressed against the ropes, preventing OMalley from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
OMalley wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lesnoe has him pressed against the ropes.
Lesnoe tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

OMalley tries to bum rush Lesnoe with a series of wild strikes but Lesnoe uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Lesnoe counters with a nice double leg into guard.

OMalley keeping moving, preventing Lesnoe from controlling successfully.
Lesnoe postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Lesnoe stops OMalley from standing up.
Lesnoe wants to control from the top but OMalley keeps moving.
Lesnoe is working OMalley over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
OMalley is looking to stand up but Lesnoe isn't so interested in that idea.
Lesnoe slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

My spies in Beast Cartel inform me that Lesnoe has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Well Lesnoe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
