The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams throws a nice looking combination but Sakkara bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nice body punch from Sakkara.
Sakkara is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sakkara looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sakkara wants to clinch.
Adams dips to his left and cracks Sakkara with an uppercut!
A telegraphed right hand from Sakkara misses the target.

Sakkara slips a jab and a cross from Adams.
Adams moves out of range as Sakkara strikes.

Adams moves away from the strike by Sakkara.
Adams throws a right and a left that both miss.

Adams misses with a hook
and Sakkara counters with a right hand to the body.
Adams tries a head kick but it misses.
Sakkara takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sakkara tries to close the distance and clinch but Adams swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sakkara lands with an overhand left.
Sakkara connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Adams feints a jab promting Sakkara to slip. Adams then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sakkara slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Marcus Sakkara has been cut.
Adams thows a body shot but no joy.
Sakkara avoids a punch combination nicely.
Adams throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sakkara.
Sakkara lands with a right that hurts Adams. Adams looks to clinch but Sakkara throws a short knee that drops Adams. This one is all over!

A relieved looking Marcus Sakkara thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
