The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tanaka moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Zemaitis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zemaitis throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Zemaitis connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Laimonas Zemaitis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zemaitis tries to clinch but Tanaka is having none of it.
