PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ernie Bezoink (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Fanco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bezoink tries to bum rush Fanco with a series of wild strikes but Fanco uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bezoink definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and Fanco counters with a right hand that sends Bezoink tumbling to the canvas! Can Fanco finish him? He dives into Bezoink's guard looking to do just that!

It looks like Ernie Bezoink has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Fanco postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bezoink is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fanco, into his guard.

Bezoink wants to get up but he can't break Fanco's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fanco has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bezoink can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
