Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Vimes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enrico Mazzarri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vimes lands a lovely overhand right.
Vimes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mazzarri manages to avoid it.
Vimes looks to land a left hand but Mazzarri moved out of range nicely.
Vimes scores with a hook to the body. Mazzarri takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Mazzarri swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Vimes misses with a wild body shot.
Vimes lands a nice hook to Mazzarri's body. Mazzarri takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Vimes throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mazzarri sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Mazzarri throws a leg kick which misses Vimes's front leg but catches the back leg as Vimes tries to avoid it.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Mazzarri wants the takedown. Vimes is fighting it off but Mazzarri persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Vimes's guard against the cage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mazzarri postures up in Vimes's guard and throws a big left but Vimes blocks it.

Mazzarri working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Vimes's head.

Vimes wants to sweep here but Mazzarri controlling him for the moment.
Mazzarri not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Vimes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Vimes is just content to waste time from the top position. Mazzarri takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Mazzarri is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Vimes rolls with it to try and escape but Mazzarri cranks on the arm and Vimes is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
