Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mayo Kermode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Ivey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivey has chosen Friday as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Phil Ivey has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivey throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Ivey lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Kermode looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Phil Ivey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ivey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kermode walks into a jab.
Ivey throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ivey lands a head kick!
Ivey throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kermode on the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ivey swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ivey misses with a right hand
and Kermode counters with a nice uppercut.
Kermode throws an overhand right that lands on Ivey's shoulder, as Ivey tries to avoid the shot.
Ivey scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kermode doesn't seem bothered though.
Kermode tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ivey swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A right-left combo lands from Ivey.
Ivey keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Ivey lands a big uppercut and Kermode crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kermode looks OK. Ivey waves Kermode back to his feet!

Kermode is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kermode throws a series of punches but Ivey moves out of range.
Oh Kermode is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kermode shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ivey eats them both and turns towards Kermode to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Kermode seems to have got his legs back now.
Ivey looks to land a left hand but Kermode moved out of range nicely.
Ivey has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Good work by Kermode as he checks the leg kick.

Ivey drops Kermode with a beautiful combination! Kermode stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ivey is looking for the KO!
Ivey throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kermode takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ivey throws a solid leg kick but Kermode takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Ivey.

Ivey cracks Kermode with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kermode looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ivey finish him?
Crack! Ivey connects with the perfect overhand right and Kermode falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Ivey!
