Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Orange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scotty Bennet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orange comes to the cage accompanied by Bob Seger- Turn the Page. Scotty Bennet told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bennet has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bennet lands a nice uppercut.
Bennet misses with the head strike.
Orange lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Scotty Bennet has been cut.
Bennet blocking some punches.
I was talking to Orange's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Bennet fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Orange misses with a short punch on the inside.
Orange misses with a hook to the ribs.
Bennet lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Orange backwards.
We've been informed that Bennet has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Bennet tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Bennet blocks an elbow strike.
Bennet misses with a punch on the inside.
Bennet lands a hook to the side of the head.
Bennet prevents a body shot from Orange.
Orange is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Orange just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bennet's brow.
Orange pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Orange lands an elbow just above Bennet 's eye.

Orange breaks from the clinch.
Bennet explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Orange throws a body kick that misses.
Bennet uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Orange.
Bennet walks into a jab.
Bennet scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Orange takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Orange on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Orange slips under a jab.
Bennet throws a leg kick that misses.
Bennet smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

It looks like Jake Orange has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bennet lands a big right hand that sends Orange crashing to the mat! Bennet stays standing though and waves Orange back to his feet!

Orange is rocked!
Bennet drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Orange's head, knocking him out cold! Bennet is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
