The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones doesn't succeed with the takedown

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Holman manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Holman tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Holman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Jones closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Holman wants to get back to his feet but Jones is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Jones is looking to work some ground and pound but Holman has wrist control.
Holman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jones advances position into side control!

Jones wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Holman, who protects the arm well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jones has hold of Holman's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Holman seems comfortable defending it but Jones has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Holman is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Holman is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Jones couldn't care less - he's delighted!

An out of breath Clyde Jones thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
