Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sambo Sudoku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paha Hemmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sambo Sudoku!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Paha Hemmo!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sudoku misses with a body shot.
Hemmo drops his hands momentarily and Sudoku takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Sudoku throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hemmo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sudoku on the side of the head.
Sudoku fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hemmo manages to avoid it.
Sudoku throws a hook but Hemmo avoids it easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sudoku. Hemmo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sudoku takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A big left from Sudoku misses.
Hemmo misses the shot to the body.
Sudoku pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sudoku jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hemmo throws a hook to the side of Sudoku's head but Sudoku sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Hemmo swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Hemmo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sudoku is looking to improve his position.
Sudoku is working hard here to advance position.

Hemmo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hemmo is looking to advance position but Sudoku won't allow it.

Sudoku is just content to waste time from the top position. Hemmo takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sudoku accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hemmo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Sudoku is looking to advance position but Hemmo has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Hemmo is pressing down on Sudoku's thigh, looking to free his foot. Sudoku is holding on for now.

Hemmo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sudoku defends it well.

Sudoku is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Paha Hemmo wasn't active enough on the ground.
Hemmo throws a hook but Sudoku blocks it.
Hemmo listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

and Hemmo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sudoku just misses with a punch to the body.
Sudoku is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Hemmo's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Hemmo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Sudoku!

Hemmo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Paha Hemmo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Hemmo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sudoku swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sudoku working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hemmo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hemmo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Paha Hemmo was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Sudoku is staying active underneath Hemmo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Paha Hemmo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hemmo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
