The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mizuno connects with a leg kick. Simmons looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Mizuno moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Mizuno fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mizuno throws a quick inside leg kick.
Simmons staying out of range there.

Simmons drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Simmons controls from within his opponent's guard.
Mizuno wants to sweep here but Simmons controlling him for the moment.
Simmons throws an elbow that misses. Mizuno uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Simmons's guard. Nice move by Mizuno!
Simmons manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mizuno manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Simmons working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Mizuno turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Simmons off and cradles Mizuno's limp body as Simmons celebrates with his corner.
