Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Helppo Heikki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Laph Roaig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heikki comes to the cage accompanied by Tech N9ne - Absolute Power. Roaig has chosen The Doors - Alabama song as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Laph Roaig!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Roberts and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roaig works over Heikki's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Helppo Heikki has been cut.
Roaig scores with a body shot.
Heikki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Roaig is fending him off so far but Heikki persists. Nope, Roaig circles away and we're back to standing.
Roaig scores with a decent looking hook.
Heikki throws a series of punches but Roaig moves out of range.
Heikki looks for a takedown but Roaig sprawls well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Heikki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Roaig tries to avoid it but Heikki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Roaig to the ground. Roaig escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Helppo Heikki. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Heikki looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Heikki shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Heikki was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Roaig throws Heikki to one side and escapes!
Heikki fails with the takedown.
Heikki takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Roaig keeps the fight on the outside.
Roaig lands a nice shot that snaps Heikki's head back.
Heikki closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Roaig quickly recovers to half guard.
Roaig is trying to stand up here but Heikki is controlling him well.
Heikki is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Heikki wants to work for an arm triangle but Roaig is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Heikki prevents Roaig from standing back up.
Roaig is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Heikki is working for a kimura but Roaig is defending it quite comfortably.

Roaig tries to clinch but Heikki moves out of range.

Roaig needs to keep his hands up - Heikki had a free shot at his head there.
Heikki tries to move into range but Roaig moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Helppo Heikki's cut is getting worse.
Roaig fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Heikki is out of range.
Horrible takedown by Heikki or perhaps it was just good defense by Roaig which made him look bad.
Roaig throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Roaig takes a swing at Heikki's ribcage but misses.

Roaig displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Heikki.
Heikki shoots in for a double leg but Roaig sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Heikki goes for a double leg but Roaig avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Roaig continues to drive forward.
Roaig misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Roaig swings wildly with an uppercut but Heikki uses good head movement to avoid it.

Heikki jumps guard but Roaig stands there with Heikki around his waist. Heikki gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Roaig.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Roaig lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A left hand lands to the body for Roaig.
Heikki blocks a body shot from Roaig.
Roaig misses with the head strike.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Heikki tries to pull guard but Roaig won't allow it.
Roaig manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Heikki.
Heikki is trying to drag Roaig to the mat but Roaig just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Laph Roaig dominated that round.

That's time! Heikki's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Roaig throws a head kick but Heikki moves out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Heikki is defended easily by Roaig.
Heikki shoots and misses
and Roaig counters with a straight right hand.
Roaig throws a hook but Heikki blocks it.
Heikki fails with a takedown attempt.

Roaig feints a jab promting Heikki to slip. Roaig then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Heikki slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Heikki shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Roaig manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Roaig manages to escape and get back to his feet.
A head kick from Roaig lands but Heikki takes it in his stride.
Roaig scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Helppo Heikki's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Roaig scores with a jab. Heikki acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Roaig stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Roaig wants it to stay on the feet.
Heikki darts in looking for a takedown but Roaig gets double underhooks and turns Heikki into the cage.

Jeez, Helppo Heikki's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Roaig tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Heikki's elbow.

Roaig pushes Heikki back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Roaig tries to work over Heikki's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Roaig tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Roaig's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
A short uppercut from Roaig.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Helppo Heikki's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Laph Roaig!
During a confident post fight interview, Laph Roaig thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
