Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lei Kung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holmes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Muse: MK Ultra kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Holmes!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes lands a nice looking kick to the body. Kung takes a step back to recover.
Kung pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
James Holmes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kung throws a chopping leg kick but Holmes manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Holmes swings for the body but Kung moves out of range.
Kung plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
A head kick misses from Kung.
Kung on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Holmes lands with a hook. Kung tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kung thuds a left hand into Holmes's body.
Kung uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Holmes.
Holmes throws an overhand right that lands on Kung's shoulder, as Kung tries to avoid the shot.
Kung ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Holmes moves away.
Holmes connects with a body shot that sends Kung's belly button to the back.
Holmes jabs Kung right on the nose. Kung blinks but takes it well.
Kung misses with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Holmes cracks a nice hook into Kung's ribs.
Kung is breathing heavily.
Holmes lands with an uppercut that bounces Kung off the cage and back into range.
Nice defenses there by Kung.
Nice uppercut lands for Kung. That snapped Holmes's head back.
Holmes shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Holmes - that will leave a mark!
Kung throws a series of punches but Holmes avoids them all with ease.
Holmes misses with a body kick.
Holmes chopping away at his opponent's legs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kung throws a looping overhand right but Holmes ducks down to avoid it.
Jab, jab by Holmes - just one landing.
Kung swings for the body but Holmes moves out of range.
Kung gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Kung tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Holmes is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Kung buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Kung!! Kung is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Holmes throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Holmes!
