Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sparky Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naruto Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by Blue clear sky. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakuraba swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Sakuraba fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Anderson, pushing him back against the cage.
Sakuraba tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Anderson's elbow.
Anderson is working for takedown but Sakuraba is calmly controlling the position for now.

Sakuraba manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Sakuraba looking to hit a scissor sweep but Anderson is one step ahead there.

Anderson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Sakuraba utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Sakuraba keeping moving, preventing Anderson from controlling successfully.

Sakuraba is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Anderson defends well.

Anderson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sakuraba dives on top into guard.
Anderson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Anderson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Anderson looking for a guillotine here but Sakuraba defends easily.
Sakuraba looking to sit in guard and control but Anderson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Anderson trying to control but Sakuraba is working from the bottom.

Sakuraba wants to stand and escape but Anderson is having none of it.

Sakuraba is looking to cinch up a triangle. Anderson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Sakuraba's body to avoid the submission. Sakuraba has instead reached around Anderson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Sakuraba arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
