Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Darius Ellis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jin Yamato!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamato throws a one two combo.
Ellis uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Yamato.
A looping hook to the body misses from Yamato. Ellis does a little dance to reset his feet.
Yamato pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Yamato has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Yamato throws a series of punches but Ellis avoids them all with ease.
Yamato looks to score with a jab to the body but Ellis is just out of range.
Yamato throws an overhand right that lands on Ellis's shoulder, as Ellis tries to avoid the shot.
Yamato looks to land a right hand but Ellis moved out of range.
Yamato jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Yamato tests Ellis's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ellis uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Yamato.
Yamato throws a sloppy head kick
and Ellis counters with a slapping leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yamato catches Ellis with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Yamato throws a right and a left that Ellis avoids nicely.
Ellis finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Yamato's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Ellis falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jin Yamato!
After winning the bout, Jin Yamato thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Darius Ellis stepped up to the mic, saying 'He is an excellent fighter and had a good gameplan. Nothing else to do now but get back in the gym'.
