Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sang Rich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamal Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rich escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Black gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rich is looking for a triangle but Black pushes his legs off easily.

Black wants to control from the top but Rich keeps moving.
Rich will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jamal Black wasn't active enough on the ground.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rich.
Rich shoots in for a takedown but Black shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Sang Rich will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Black looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rich is fending him off so far but Black persists. Nope, Rich circles away and we're back to standing.
Rich keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Black jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rich walks away with a smile on his face. Black gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Black dives in and grabs Rich's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rich pushes down on Black's head and hops out.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rich, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
