Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Cramdon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jared Michael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cramdon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to shine. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick from Michael misses.
Michael has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Cramdon is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Cramdon tries to clinch up.
Cramdon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Michael throws a low kick but it's checked well by Cramdon.
Cramdon tries to clinch there but Michael circles away.
Cramdon shoots in for a takedown but Michael shows good takedown defense.
Michael ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cramdon moves away.
Nice shot lands for Michael.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ralph Cramdon. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cramdon drives through with a takedown into Michael's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Michael can't keep his opponent in guard - Cramdon advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Michael is in trouble now - Cramdon has advanced to mount!

Cramdon tries to control but Michael wriggling away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cramdon has hold of Michael's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Michael manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Cramdon is working for a guillotine from mount but Michael frees his head quite easily.
Michael is wriggling around trying to escape.
Michael reaches up to try and control the position but Cramdon seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Michael rolls and tries to escape and now Cramdon has his back!

Michael really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cramdon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cramdon is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

Cramdon is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Michael has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Cramdon has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Michael taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Cramdon doesn't care though - he's delighted!
