The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inter throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Samuel De Lucas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De Lucas looks to land a combination. Inter sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Inter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

This has been an exciting period of action!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! De Lucas crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Inter - the referee stops the clock and De Lucas gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Inter. De Lucas manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
De Lucas is breathing heavily.
Inter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says De Lucas as he avoids it easily.
Inter avoids the body shot from De Lucas.

Inter lands a big head kick that sends De Lucas tumbling to the mat! Inter takes a step backwards and waves De Lucas back to his feet - he wants the finish!

A slapping leg kick lands for Inter.
De Lucas is still on wobbly legs! Can Inter finish him?
Inter lands a big right hook! De Lucas looks hurt but is still standing! Inter lands a left jab and another right hook! This time De Lucas falls down and Inter dives in with a huge hammer fist! De Lucas's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Inter runs up the ropes to celebrate with his fans!

A very excited looking Primus Inter made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
