Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Con Waterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Brock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Waterson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Oasis - Roll With It. Brock has chosen Guns and Roses - Reckless Life as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
17 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Con Waterson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eddie Brock!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brock throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Waterson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Brock has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Brock closes the distance and clinches up with Waterson, looking for a takedown. Brock pushes Waterson against the cage but Waterson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Waterson takes one to the chin there.
Brock lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Brock finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Waterson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Barracks - LOD in the buildup to the fight.
Brock lands a really nice looking cross but Waterson seems unphased.
Brock works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Brock connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Brock lands a leg kick that knocks Waterson off balance momentarily.

Waterson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brock sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Brock sizes up Waterson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

I would just about give that final round to Eddie Brock.
Well Brock has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
