Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Virgil Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roddy Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keller's entrance music is War Music. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roddy Piper!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piper shoots and misses
and Keller counters with a nice uppercut.

Piper tries for a takedown but Keller circles away easily
letting Keller counter with a right hand.
Piper fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Virgil Keller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roddy Piper.
Piper will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Piper fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Keller sprawls well initially but Piper persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Piper wants to free his trapped foot but Keller is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Keller is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at ~T~ Troid - Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Keller is in a horrible position here. Piper smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Piper loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Keller scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Piper land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Piper stands and salutes the crowd.

Roddy Piper really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Just Fight (Everything 7$) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
